Xiangyu Wenshu Education Foundation

With deep admiration for Premier Zhou Enlai, I enrolled in Nankai University, the alma mater of the Premier, in 1984, majoring in political economy. After graduation, I entered the investment field during the tide of reform and opening up. Decades of professional experience have made me realize more deeply: wealth can create value, but education can change destiny; enterprises can influence an industry, while education can influence a generation.

Education has always been the most passionate cause in my heart and the most worthy of long-term investment. With respect for Premier Zhou Enlai and Ms. Deng Yingchao, we initiated the establishment of the Xiangyu Wenshu Education Foundation to support the development of Xiangyu Wenshu Academy and promote exchange, mutual learning, and common growth among young people worldwide. Education once led many children like me out of rural areas and changed their destinies; today, we hope to help more young people broaden their horizons, enhance their abilities, and realize their dreams through education; we also hope they can understand different cultures, respect each other's differences, and grow into a new generation of youth who promote world peace and development through exchange and mutual learning.

Although I am now over sixty, I still consider myself a new entrepreneur. The difference is that this time, the investment is no longer in enterprises and projects, but in youth and the future; the goal of entrepreneurship is not only to create value, but also to sow hope. The Foundation is willing to join hands with all who care about education and believe in the future, turning today's efforts into tomorrow's hope, and the cultivation of youth into the most valuable investment in the future world.
